ATHEISTS, SOME SCIENTISTS, AND EVOLUTIONISTS ASK, “IF GOD MADE THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING IN IT, WHO MADE GOD?’ CAN GOD, [WHO IS] SPIRITUAL, [UNTOUCHABLE, UNSEEN, INCOMPREHENSIBLE,] INFLUENCE MATERIAL MATTER?” Humans battle with these questions since the day they were banished from the holiest presence of the Almighty God in the garden, (Gen. 3:23; Rom. 5:12.) This debate generated similar weird perceptions: GOD IS TOO COMPLEX TO EXIST. HUMANS HAVE CREATED GOD IN THEIR MINDS. GNOSTICS SAY THERE IS NO GOD. HOW CAN WE KNOW GOD IS REAL? GOD CREATED HIMSELF. HOW COULD GOD WHO IS SPIRIT BECOME A MAN?
► BEST ANSWER TO ATHEISTS, ‘SCIENTISTS,’ AND EVOLUTIONISTS, “People assume God is not affected by time, space, and matter. If He is affected [in these ways,] He is not God. Time, space, and matter [form] a continuum, [and cannot be separated from one another.] All of them have to come into existence at the same instance. If there were matter but no space, WHERE would you put it? If there were matter and space but no time, WHEN would you put it? You cannot have space, time, and matter independently. They have to come into existence simultaneously. Bible Scripture answers that in ten words in Genesis 1:1: ‘In the beginning, (time,) God created the heaven, (space,) and the earth, (matter.)’ So time is past, present, and future. Space is length, width, and height. Matter is solid, liquid, and gas: [the three forms of matter in the natural world.] The Creator must be outside of them. If He is limited by time He is not God. God is outside His [material] universe and is not affected by it. [But] if spiritual [space] have no effect on material body… that explains… irrationality. If your brain were just a random collection of chemicals that formed ‘over millions of years,’ how can you trust your own reasoning processes? Those who question ‘where did God come from,’ assume a limited God. The True Creator God is not limited by time, space, and matter. If I put a limited God in my brain he would not be worth worshipping.” [Credit to CBN.]
► “IS GOD TOO COMPLEX TO EXIST?” No, He is so capable of anything that understanding God and the spirit world is far beyond our brain capacity. Our limited mind cannot really comprehend even the intricate natural world we live in. So, “the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to him. Nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned,” (1 Cor. 2:14.) God definitely exists because we can see His complex handiwork in creation and understand it as far as we are capable, (Rom. 1:20.) God’s creation is so mind blowing intricate and masterfully planned that atheists with healthy minds and eyes simply cannot exist. For example, to believe a ‘big bang’ created everything through ‘evolution,’ one has to murder one’s common sense to believe the impossibility that a ‘big bang’ can create instead of destroy. If nothing existed at all, how could anything suddenly COLLIDE from NOWHERE with NOTHING to cause a “bang” that could “give life” to even one atom, molecule, or cell by bombing ‘nothingness?’
► COULD HUMANS HAVE CREATED GOD IN THEIR MINDS? The True God of the contextual truth of Bible Scripture can never fit into a finite human mind, which obliterates the notion that God is only a figment of imagination. That view is Satan pretending to be god in their minds, (2 Ths. 2:9 KJV.) Under satanic deception, humans can also ‘recreate’ themselves as god in their minds. The devil will immediately exploit both these possibilities and act the part. There is no doubt that the false “god of this world deceive [and thus] rule the whole world, [who live without the Lord Jesus Christ,]” (1 Jn. 5:18-19.) Since the fall in the garden, the enemy of God and creation uses every opportunity to ingrain theological lies in the mind of man, which ungodly humans choose to believe to justify their sin and recklessness, (Gen. 3:1-7.) “But [the true God…] has set [the certainty] of eternity in the human heart. YET NO ONE CAN FATHOM WHAT GOD HAS DONE FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END,” (Eccl. 3:11.) A ‘god complex’ cannot explain the Reality of God. It is simply blasphemous self-worship that drive people insane. Thus, it is associated with disturbed behavior patterns as found in narcissistic personality disorder, which puffs the ‘god mind’ of the person into psychopathy or the absolute lack of conscience, where guilt, shame, accountability, and empathy for their victims cannot exist, although they often have a Christian and other religious “form of godliness,” (2 Tim. 3:1-7.)
► AGNOSTICS SAY ‘THERE IS NO GOD.’ God answered this illogical rejection of His Personhood in Psalm 14:1, “The fool has [made himself believe,] ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt… abominable… and do nothing good.” As said, agnostics cannot exist. They wilfully choose NOT to believe in God as “they are already condemned by [rejecting Jesus Christ…] They love darkness rather can light because their deeds are evil. Everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be clearly seen that they were done in God,” (Jn. 3:17-21.)
► HOW CAN WE KNOW GOD IS REAL? Apart from seeing The Creator Godhead through the work of His hands, Isaiah 26:9 testifies, “My soul (mind) yearns for You… My spirit within me seeks You…” Every person on earth also ‘instinctively’ knows God is real because even in the deepest jungles where no one heard about Jesus, people try to worship a god. This proves the human spirit, (in comatosed death through the fall in the garden,) still sends muffled distress calls to God, (Gen. 3:1-8; 1 Ths. 5:23; Rom. 5:12!) The Lord Jesus declared, “Unless one is [spiritually] born again [though personal faith in Me,] he cannot see or enter the [spiritual] Kingdom of God, (Jn. 3:3-6; 1 Cor. 2:14.) What’s more, the “Spirit convicts the world, [every person on earth,] of sin, [through the Moral Law in their hearts and minds;] righteousness, [through Jesus Christ,] and judgment if they reject Him,” (Jn. 16:8-11.) No one will have an excuse on Judgement Day, (Rom. 2:14-15.)
► COULD GOD HAVE CREATED HIMSELF? Let the Word of God answer this worthless speculation. “The ETERNAL GOD is your refuge.” (Deut. 33:27.) This means, “God is without father, without mother, without genealogy; having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but [was born on earth as a material man,] the Son of God…” (Heb. 7:3.) “In the beginning, [eons before humans were created with finite minds that attempt to fathom the infinity of God,] was the Word and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS, [STILL IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE] GOD. [Jesus] The Word was in the beginning with God, [the inseparable, ever-present Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.] All things were made through Him. Without Him NOTHING was made that was made,” (Jn. 1:1-3.)
Hebrews 1:1-5 concur, “God spoke [during the ousted Old Testament,] by the prophets, but in these last days, [the eternal New Testament Covenant,] He spoke to us [through the true context of Bible Scripture] by His Son, [the Word,] Whom He appointed Heir of all things; THROUGH ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS, [the spiritual and material worlds,]” (Heb. 8:7-13.)
► HOW COULD GOD, WHO IS SPIRIT, BECOME A MAN? How could the almighty, everlasting Creator NOT become a man? What is impossible for God? That God became a man is not merely a spiritual certainty but an undeniable, documented, historical reality! After Jesus’ full atonement at the cross and His resurrection from the grave, the omnipresent God Himself even indwells all genuine believers in Christ as His blood-cleansed, spiritual temple on earth, (1 Cor. 3:16-17; Acts 7:44-50.) Jesus asked, “If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? NO ONE HAS [physically] ASCENDED TO HEAVEN BUT HE WHO CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN: THE SON OF MAN WHO IS IN HEAVEN,” (Col. 1:18-20; Jn. 3:12-13,16-18.) “God SO loved the [whole] world that He gave His only begotten,, [incarnated] Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 1:14, “[For this reason,] THE WORD, [God Himself in the body of Jesus Christ,] BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG MEN, AND THEY BEHELD HIS GLORY…” The historical record of Jesus’ birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension proves that God became the Only Christ Who gave Himself, (His own blood and human flesh) as a willing sacrifice for all sin, so that those who sincerely believe in Him “will not perish, but have eternal life.”
► CONCLUSION: The Almighty, Ever-present, All-knowing God thought it is enough that humanity knows and understands Him through the Truth of His Word, which is “spirit and life;’ the man Jesus Christ Himself, (John 6:63 KJV,) and by seeing Him as the Creator God in nature - the magnificent work of His hands no one can replicate, (Romans 1:20.) Who is feeble man then, to add to or take away from God's Word as they please! For instance, ‘revelations’ from those who supposedly ‘die and return from heaven and hell’ are false and utterly presumptuous! Jesus said in Luke 16:29-31, “[No one will return from heaven, and hell is eternal judgement from where no human escapes, (Mark 9:44.) [Hardened sinners] will not repent even if someone could return [from heaven or hell.] If they do not believe [and obey Him, God’s True Word as revealed in the Scriptures,] neither will they be persuaded though one rises from the dead.”
Philippians 2:9, “Jesus is the Name above all names.” He Alone is the Creator God and Eternal Life, Who could declare in John 8:12; 31-32,36, “I Am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will [never] walk in darkness, but have the Light of Life… If you abide in [Me, the true, contextual, Scriptural Word,] you are My disciples indeed. Then you will know the Truth, and The Truth [about Me, The Eternal Word of God,] will make you free... For if the Son, [through His full atonement,] sets you free, you are free indeed!”
